Fuego FC develops pathway program to identify and develop local talent
FRESNO, CA – Central Valley Fuego FC announced today the Fuego Affiliate Program to establish a direct pathway between local youth clubs and Fuego FC’s curriculum, network and technical staff.
The Fuego Affiliate Program provides local youth clubs with the opportunity to be integrated into each element of the Fuego FC experience. Fuego FC will work with affiliate clubs by creating an unparalleled platform that elevates both the organization’s players and staff.
“This is an exciting first step to building a full development pathway to our Fuego FC’s League One team and helping the youth clubs throughout the Valley,” shares Adam Smith, Sporting Director. “Back in 2013 I helped start a similar program with the Portland Timbers. The “Timbers Alliance Program” has now grown to over 20 partner clubs throughout Oregon and even into the state of Alaska. We are not Portland Timbers (yet) but we can start at the right pace and look to collaborate with clubs in our communities that have a similar DNA and outlook. Exciting times for youth soccer and for Fuego FC.”
