Club asks community to contact local leaders to show support for stadium in downtown Fresno

Since Central Valley Fuego FC was announced as a USL League One expansion club in December 2020, the organization has been building momentum toward the return of professional soccer to Fresno. The California club is now seeking the support of its community as it enters the final stages of acquiring land for a new, soccer-specific stadium that the team will call home.

As the club strives to create a venue that people in the Valley can take pride in, it has asked its community to contact community leaders to voice support for the project. Fuego FC today released a call to action on the club’s site and social channels, laying out the process for fans to get involved by emailing local officials, signing up for the club’s newsletter to stay up-to-date, and spreading the word on social media.

Updates on the club’s stadium development project, and its inaugural League One season in 2022, will be announced in the coming months.
