CAL POLY ALUM WITH CENTRAL VALLEY TIES MAKES PROFESSIONAL DEBUT WITH FUEGO FC
FRESNO, Calif. – Central Valley Fuego FC announced on Wednesday they have signed midfielder Neil Boyal as the club builds its roster for its inaugural 2022 USL League One season. This is the 23-year-old’s first professional contract. The signing is pending league and federation approval.
Born in Modesto, Calif., Boyal was raised in Olympia, Wash. and most recently competed for Cal Poly Mustangs in 2021 in which he recorded a goal and five assists. Previously, he played for Drexel University during the 2017-18 season, they were named Colonial Athletic All-Rookie Team. Boyal tallied 16 appearances and 15 starts. Boyal also appeared in 20 matches for University of Louisville and reached the NCAA Championship third round. The Indian American player trained with Seattle Sounders Academy.

I know there will be a lot of challenges along the way but I hope to do everything in my power to help the team win matches,” said Neil Boyal. “All credit goes to my family, teammates, and coaches for me to be able to hold the title of professional soccer player.
