Academy Enrichment: David Kabamba Strengthens Central Valley Fuego FC Roster
FRESNO, CA – Central Valley Fuego FC proudly welcomes defender David Kabamba to the team on an Academy Agreement, pending league and federation approval, marking a significant milestone in the club’s commitment to nurturing local talent and fostering excellence in soccer development.
Originating from the Democratic Republic of Congo, David Kabamba brings a wealth of skill and determination to Central Valley Fuego FC. Kabamba has been a part of Clovis Crossfire, a proud affiliate club of Fuego FC, where he showcased his prowess and dedication to the sport. David’s exceptional talent did not go unnoticed, as he also made significant contributions to the Clovis East High School Varsity Team.
A pivotal moment in David’s career came when he joined the Fuego FC Academy in 2023. During his time with the academy, David exhibited remarkable growth and commitment, culminating in the team’s journey to the USL Academy National Finals in December 2023, held in Tampa, Florida. His participation in this prestigious event highlighted his potential as a standout player within the Fuego FC organization.
David has demonstrated exceptional promise during his training sessions with the Fuego FC first team. With the implementation of a new rule for the 2024 season, which allows for two additional youth players on the roster, David Kabamba and other talented academy prospects now have the opportunity to earn a place on the bench and even feature in matches alongside the first team.
