Fresno, CA – Central Valley Fuego FC, has signed a partnership with Fresno/Clovis local and family restaurant, Yosemite Falls Café.
Yosemite Falls Café serves the Central Valley community with its three locations on Blackstone, Cedar and Shaw creating the perfect family friendly restaurant we all love; while adding the upbeat bar that’s been the centerpiece of Fresno’s dining, drinking, and socializing since 2005. Yosemite Falls Café has made a commitment to offer great meals, stiff cocktails, and a friendly ambience that welcomes all every day for breakfast through dinner. The restaurant is led by Central Valley local and owner Manuel Perrales, a former travel team soccer player who loves the growth of soccer in the United States. His father, Frank Perrales, a pioneer of local soccer in Madera since the late ‘60s instilled his passion for the sport in his family, which makes this partnership a special one.
“We are thrilled to be working with Yosemite Falls Café. It is important for the club to connect with the community in different ways and for many, Yosemite Falls has been a staple in our community,” said Fuego FC VP of Fútbol, Nehemias Blanco. “There are some fun ideas that this partnership has created which will benefit not only the club and partner, but most importantly the fans in the Central Valley.
Yosemite Falls Café will serve as a proud sponsor of the Central Valley Fuego FC providing a 15% discount on meals and beverages at all Yosemite Falls Café locations by showing your Fuego FC ticket valid for a week after the home match has been played. Yosemite Falls Café will also present the “half-time penalty kick challenge” all season long. One lucky fan will get to participate in each game and shoot three penalty shots against “Fuego the Fox” for a chance to win prizes for the fans in the stadium. Yosemite Falls Café will also have a presence in the community sponsoring the back of the “Fuego the Fox” jersey connecting with the Central Valley community and inviting all to a fun watch party at a future date and the US Open Cup pre-party “Fuego Fan Fest” on Tuesday April 5 from 5-7 pm. Together with Yosemite Falls Café, Fuego FC is providing sports fans with an amazing fan experience that welcomes all people to pro soccer in the Central Valley.
“Yosemite Falls Café is excited to be a part of the Fuego FC’s inaugural season in the pros and is excited that games will be played at Fresno State’s campus that has had a long history in soccer,” said Yosemite Falls Café owner, Manuel Perrales. “This is more than just promoting the restaurant. We are ‘Fuego Familia’ and partnering with Fuego FC keeps what my father started going. ¡Dale Fuego!”
In addition to the Yosemite Fall Café entitlement of “Penalty Kick Challenge” and season long fan discount, Yosemite Falls Café logo will be prominently displayed on the front of all the Fuego FC kids “Dream Team” kits and will be title sponsor of the “Armed Forces Night” match on Saturday, July 2 at 7:30pm as Fuego FC hosts South Georgia Tormenta FC at Fresno State University.
